Step-by-step setup
Install the app for your device
Android TV and phones: Google Play. Firestick: sideload with Downloader (see the Firestick guide). Samsung and LG: search the TV app store for "IPTV Smarters". Apple: "IPTV Smarters Player" on the App Store. Windows and Mac: download from the official site.
Choose Login with Xtream Codes API
On the opening screen accept the terms and pick the Xtream Codes option. Leave M3U alone unless support has specifically told you to use it.
Enter your Nartiel8k details
Any name, then the username, password and server URL including http:// and the port, exactly as sent on WhatsApp. Tap Add User.
Let the EPG load
It now pulls channels, on-demand titles and the guide. The guide can take a few minutes to fill in completely. Under Settings, EPG, switch on "Enable EPG on live TV" so it shows while you are watching.
Set the player
Go to Settings, Player settings and select the built-in player with hardware decoding. If one particular channel stutters, switch just that channel to software decoding from the player menu rather than changing the global setting.
Common errors and fixes
"Your account is expired"
That is the subscription, not the app. Renew on WhatsApp and the same credentials start working again within minutes; there is nothing to reinstall.
Channels list is empty after login
Pull down to refresh, or sign out and back in. If it is still bare, the server URL is wrong somewhere, and the port number is the usual culprit.
App keeps closing on Firestick
Clear its cache under Settings, Applications, Manage installed applications, then reopen. If it keeps happening, remove it and install the current version fresh.
